Misch Strotz is the CEO and Co-founder of LetzAI, a Luxembourg-based startup reshaping the intersection of creativity and artificial intelligence. Known for their commitment to ethical, opt-in AI systems, LetzAI is not just a tool but a social discovery platform, giving users control over their data and artistic identity. This year, Misch and his team partnered with Nexus Luxembourg to design the event’s brand-new visual identity, and they’ll also be showcasing their innovation as exhibitors.
Misch shared his thoughts on the fast-moving tech world, the creative process behind the Nexus Luxembourg 2025 branding, and why LetzAI could change the way we think about design, ownership, and AI.

1. What’s the biggest misconception about the tech industry?
In tech, and especially in software, the scarce resource isn’t money or brains—it’s time. With billions of people online, someone is almost certainly building a version of your idea right now. AI‑plus‑open‑source tooling lets people ship in days, so when a new product launches, the early adopters may already have hopped to the next shiny thing. Tech founders today must ship fast, iterate faster, and anchor their edge in network effects, proprietary data, or deep expertise, because if you rely on being first, the relentless clock of technology will tick right past you. It’s a really though business to be in.
2. What excites you most about your collaboration with Nexus Luxembourg?
Last year’s first edition was a great success in our opinion, and we’re excited to see how the second one will level up. We're always proud to support the growth of Luxembourg’s tech scene, so when Mike reached out to collaborate on this year’s branding, we were excited to help.
3. How can LetzAI be seen as a game-changer in the design world?
LetzAI is an “opt-in” AI System. Contrary to large platforms like ChatGPT, we do not scrape the internet to get new data. Instead users can add themselves, their products or their art style. Creating an AI Model with us, is like setting up a YouTube channel. Hence the key thing about LetzAI is that it’s not just a creative tool—it’s a social discovery engine. We let people generate images of anything and anyone, while our users hold the ownership of their contributions to the AI. That’s a major shift from how most other platforms work. Our model has proven to be incredibly stable and is still running on the same core method we pioneered in 2023 with our “Model Tagging” system, a method that has since been copied by almost every major AI platform.
4. What was the inspiration behind creating the identity for Nexus Luxembourg 2025?
How was the process? For the early concepts, we experimented with blending multiple Luxembourgish LetzAI models like the Gëlle Fra and the Luxembourg tram, but it turned out those cultural symbols carried too much heritage. The Nexus team wasn’t convinced. So, we pivoted toward a different direction. We combined drafts from Cassandre from the Nexus design team into a LetzAI model and ended up generating hundreds of visual variations. The organizers then handpicked and refined those into the final look.
5. What do you think about people who say AI-generated work isn’t real art?
Everyone’s entitled to their opinion - but honestly, that one’s getting old, and is just missing the point of what art can and should be. Art has always been about pushing boundaries, experimentation with new tools, and expressing something real. There has never been more art than today, including analog art. So AI tools are just the latest tools in a long tradition. Art made using those tools can be art, but not everything made with AI is automatically art. What’s one thing AI should never be allowed to do? Maximize paperclip automation :)
6. What are you most looking forward to at this year’s event?
Meeting new people from all over Europe in person and showing them what Luxembourgish developers are capable of.
What’s one thing tech still hasn’t solved, but really should have by now?
Killing the “password” and finally giving people better digital identities.
