Throughout the two-day conference, 250 startups will showcase their innovations in the Startup Hive zone, meeting over 10,000 participants.
250 handpicked startups from around the world — 25 in each of ten categories — will pitch their solutions on the dedicated stage for ten 90-minute sessions (3 mins for each startup). In front of a jury of investors and hundreds of professionals, they’ll compete to make it to the Top 3 in their category— and ultimately for the title of “Nexus Luxembourg 2026 – Grand Winner: Startup/Scaleup of the Year.”

Nexus Luxembourg 2026 – Grand Winner: Startup/Scaleup of the Year
After a rigorous selection process by an international jury of professional investors, 30 finalists will be honoured and winners will be revealed during the high-energy Nexus Startups/Scaleups Awards Ceremony at the Closing Seated Dinner Ceremony.
One standout startup or scaleup will receive the Grand Winner prize — a package worth €100,000, including €25,000 in cash and €75,000 in premium business services (workspace, consultancy, and media exposure).
The international selection committee includes VCs, leading experts and representatives from Luxembourg’s Trade and Investment Offices from around the world.

Live Jury Phase
During the event, a live jury conducts on-site evaluations. Their assessments determine the Top 3 in each category(30 finalists) and ultimately one Grand Winner.
All 25 finalists will be revealed one month before the event, over a 10-day announcement period (one category per day) across our social media channels, our website, and Paperjam.lu.

Selection Phase
A selection committee — also made up of top experts, VCs and institutions — narrows the field to 25 startups or scaleups per category. This evaluation process takes place in three stages (15 January, 15 February and 15 March 2026).

Discovery Phase
A discovery committee composed of leading experts, VCs and institutional partners identifies and recommends the most inspiring and promising startups and scaleups across ten categories. They reach out to these companies and invite them to complete an online registration.
Startups and Scaleups can apply directly as well.
