Nathalie Magniez is the Head of Sustainability, Sales & Marketing at STMicroelectronics and a leading voice on sustainability-driven innovation in the tech industry. She will be joining Nexus Luxembourg 2025 as a keynote speaker on June 18, where she’ll explore the theme “Powering the Future: Clean Tech, Energy Transition & Climate Action.”
Ahead of the event, she graciously shared her thoughts on the future of responsible innovation, the transformative role of technology in society, and what she looks forward to at Nexus Luxembourg 2025.

What inspired you to join Nexus Luxembourg for its second edition?
Nexus is where big ideas meet real action. It brings together global innovators, bold thinkers, and decision-makers in an intimate setting that sparks meaningful conversations and unexpected collaborations. What I like about Nexus is its unique blend - AI, business, policy, and purpose - all in one place. It’s not just a tech event; it’s a platform for shaping smarter, more connected futures. If you care about where the world is going and want to be part of the conversation that’s shaping it, this is where you need to be.
What’s one tech prediction for the future that sounds crazy, but you believe in?
I believe in a future where electronics won’t just power our devices—they’ll heal themselves and the environment around them. Imagine bio-organic, self-repairing circuits embedded in everything from wearables to infrastructure—electronics that mimic biological regeneration and decompose into nutrients when their job is done.
As someone born into tech - literally sketching on punched cards as a kid - this sounds like sci-fi. But with advances in bioelectronics, nanotech, and sustainable design, it’s not just crazy, it’s coming. And I want to help build that future.
What’s one thing tech still hasn’t fixed that it should have by now?
Despite our technological advancements, we haven’t fully addressed the digital divide. Access to technology and digital literacy remains uneven across different regions and communities. As leaders in the tech industry, we have a responsibility to ensure that innovation benefits all, leaving no one behind.
If AI could help with one everyday task, what should it be?
Help every human think clearly.
In today’s world, we’re drowning in noise- truth, lies, agendas, trends. Forming a clear, validated, and meaningful opinion has become a huge challenge. AI could be a game-changer if it helped each of us make sense of complexity: curating facts, exposing bias, simulating impact—so we can think with more depth, empathy, and truth.
If AI can support us not just in productivity, but in clarity, we have a real shot at rebuilding trust, unity, and smarter societies.

We look forward to Nathalie’s keynote and to discovering the bold solutions our exhibitors are bringing for a smarter, more sustainable future.
