Arnaud Fournier is the Managing Director of ROTOMADE, with a rich background spanning both the automotive and water management sectors. Known for his commitment to sustainable innovation, he combines technical expertise with a strong vision for responsible manufacturing. Arnaud will take part in Nexus Luxembourg 2025 on June 18, joining a panel discussion focused on how AI can enhance the EU’s competitiveness in the manufacturing industry. He shared with us his perspective on the future of technology, sustainability, and the role of innovation in shaping smarter systems.

What inspired you to join Nexus Luxembourg for its second edition?
I'm really looking forward to Nexus Luxembourg as this will be the first time for me! It's a great mix of new ideas, doing things sustainably, and making good connections—all things I care about. With my background of activities in both cars and water, I'm especially interested in how tech can help us be more eco-friendly and work smarter. I’m excited to meet other leaders and talk about where tech is going in Luxembourg and beyond.
What’s one tech prediction for the future that sounds crazy, but you believe in?
I think we’ll see AI running water systems in homes and small towns everywhere. Imagine AI figuring out how to use water best, knowing when stuff like BIOROCK compact filters need maintenance, and even helping us collect and clean rainwater to drink. It sounds like a lot, but with all the sensors, AI, and green tech coming together, it’s totally realistic.
What’s one thing tech still hasn’t fixed that it should have by now?
Tech still hasn’t made it super easy for everyone to share and use the best ways to be eco-friendly in manufacturing. We need a system where companies, big or small, can easily find and use proven ways to lower their carbon footprint. It's like when I standardized product designs in the car industry—we need that for sustainability.
If AI could help with one everyday task, what should it be?
I’d want AI to handle saving energy in my manufacturing process. If AI could learn how we use energy and automatically adjust things depending on multiple parameters, we could waste a lot less energy, save money, and help the planet. It would make life easier and support sustainability.

We look forward to Arnaud engaging panel discussion, which promises valuable insights and inspiring exchanges.
