Torge Schwandt is Chief of Staff at āltitude, a European early-stage VC firm investing in software startups that accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs. Prior to joining āltitude, he was a Fellow at Mangrove Capital Partners, one of Europe’s pioneering venture funds.

Torge brings 15 years of experience across startups, consulting, international business, and entrepreneurship. Before working in venture capital, he founded nōted, a PR agency for startups, and co-founded Invisible Media, the team behind popular business podcasts like Startup Notes and State of Mind. Earlier in his career, he worked in FinTech, SportsTech, and CleanTech, and held roles in international relations and public administration.

He holds a MA in Applied International Studies from University of Washington in Seattle and is driven by the opportunity to support founders who leverage digital technology like AI to create meaningful, purpose-led change.
