Sudhakar “Sud” Sivaji, has been a part of the Leadership Team of Aperam S.A. since May 6, 2020.

Responsible for finance, legal, technology and digitization at Aperam, Sud’s been lucky enough to make a career out of bridging people and technology, connecting engineers and controllers and balancing eking out a living with innovation - all in the metals and mining space.

Over the past two decades, volatile cycles, global supply chains and the role of energy in transforming steel have forced him to think about local supply chains, recycling, sustainability and value creation long before they became buzzwords.

An engineer at heart, who annoys his teams with his favorite sentence “Even rocket science is not rocket science”, Sud lives now in Luxembourg with his family but follows sports on 4 continents.
