Nicolas Folny is Head of IT at Banque de Luxembourg, where he leads a department of 180 professionals covering a wide range of IT functions, including software development, infrastructure, operations, architecture, and project and service management. He oversees IT strategy, system transformation, and project portfolio execution for Banque de Luxembourg as well as six other entities within the group, based in Europe and Asia. Banque de Luxembourg serves as one of the group’s technology competence centers, delivering shared digital and infrastructure services to these institutions.

With 18 years of experience in the banking and IT sectors, Nicolas has led major initiatives in core banking modernization, digital channel development, regulatory and financial reporting, and cross-entity system integration. He has successfully managed distributed teams, agile transformations, and high-impact programs in complex environments.
