Nic is an IT veteran and fintech entrepreneur with experience in Romania, Belgium, and the United States. He graduated from Informatics in Romania in 1991 and EMBA in Switzerland in 2001. Starting from advanced database technologies, he built startups for banking services, payments, digital identity and credit scoring in Europe and America.

Recently, Nic founded Lendrise, a startup that strengthens the creditworthiness of European citizens, and RoFintech, the Fintech association in Romania that helps fintech companies advance in the highly competitive and regulated environment of Romania and the European Union.

Nic is also involved in Romanian national projects such as digital currency and the financial and digital inclusion of Romanians at home and in the diaspora.
