Jean-Paul Olinger has been the director of the Direct Tax Administration since May 1, 2024. A graduate with an MBA from HEC Lausanne and a Master's in Business Law and Taxation from the University of Mannheim, Jean-Paul joined KPMG Luxembourg's tax team in 2005, where he progressed from assistant to partner. Between 2018 and 2024, he served as the head of the Luxembourg Business Federation (UEL) and the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (INDR).

During this time, he represented the UEL on various boards of directors of Luxembourg social security institutions, such as the National Health Fund (CNS), the Employers' Mutual Insurance (MDE), the National Pension Fund (CNAP), and the Compensation Fund (FDC).
