Jean-Luc Rippinger holds a degree in aeronautical and aerospace engineering and an MBA. He founded the mobility SaaS company UFT-Kussbus. He developed it from scratch to a successful exit in 2020.

Later, he became a venture partner at ViaID, a leading corporate venture capital company investing in mobility startups. In 2025, he co-founded Scrioo, an AI-based risk and opportunity monitoring platform for corporates.
