Gérard Hoffmann
CEO - Proximus Luxembourg
Since January 2019, Gérard Hoffmann has been the CEO of Proximus Luxembourg, which operates under the brands of Tango and Proximus NXT. Prior to that, he had served since 2002 as Chairman and Managing Director of Telindus Luxembourg. Since 2023, Gérard Hoffmann is also Co-Managing Director of Clarence, which operates Luxembourg’s first AI-enabled sovereign cloud. As Chair of the Chamber of Commerce’s working group on AI, he contributed to drafting the Chamber’s AI recommendations for Luxembourg. He is Honorary Chairman and a board member of ICT Luxembourg and sits on the boards of FEDIL, Cloud Community Europe - Luxembourg, Finance & Technology Luxembourg, and the Groupement Luxembourgeois de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace. He has also been a member of the Governance Council of the University of Luxembourg from 2003 through 2023. Through his longstanding engagement in Luxembourg’s ICT ecosystem, Gérard Hoffmann actively fosters a business-friendly environment for investment in the digital economy of Luxembourg.
