Christophe Trefois is the Head of Technology at Luxembourg National Data Service (LNDS). He is the deputy technical coordinator of ELIXIR Luxembourg and is serving as an IT and AI expert in the national ethics committee.

At LNDS, he takes care of the internal and external technological developments, which include IT security, data space platform design, software engineering, IT infrastructure and support and data engineering. He holds a PhD from University of Luxembourg and is an expert in reproducible science, data management and research IT infrastructure management.
