Christophe Medinger serves as Vice President and Head of Architecture at Spuerkeess. He is at the forefront of the bank’s digitalization projects, leading major initiatives that integrate technologies such as blockchain and advanced digital banking services.

One of his landmark achievements includes leading the launch of Luxembourg’s first fully digital student loan based on blockchain technology, in partnership with the Ministry for Digitalisation and the CTIE.
In addition to his role at Spuerkeess, Christophe serves as Chair of the ABBL Digital Strategy Cluster, where he collaborates with industry stakeholders to shape the future of digital banking in Luxembourg. In this role, he helps define strategic priorities and foster innovation across the financial sector.

Christophe also works closely with academic institutions, such as the University of Luxembourg, on initiatives exploring the integration of decentralized finance (DeFi) and digital assets into traditional banking frameworks.

His work consistently aims to enhance customer experience, drive efficiency, and position Luxembourg’s banking ecosystem at the cutting edge of digital innovation.
