In just two editions, Nexus Luxembourg has established itself as one of Europe’s most distinctive innovation gatherings. Far from being another anonymous mega-conference, it has deliberately chosen a boutique-style format that privileges substance over noise, human encounters over spectacle. And yet, the numbers already speak volumes: Nexus Luxembourg 2025 saw 8,452 registrations from 57 countries, 659 speakers — including 144 startup founders — 73 exhibitors, 284 formal matchmaking meetings, over 17,000 connections through the event app, and nearly a thousand guests at the Closing Seated Dinner. The ambition is clear: to place Luxembourg firmly on the global map of AI, technology, and innovation.

What makes Nexus Luxembourg unique is the diversity of its community. Government policymakers sit alongside established corporations, leading financial-centre players, dynamic SMEs, venture capital funds, technology experts, thought leaders, and an ever-growing contingent of startups and scale-ups. Students and researchers in AI, business, and tech mingle with executives and investors from across Europe and far beyond — from Asia to the Americas, from Africa to the Middle East. This breadth is both a strength and a challenge: each stakeholder arrives with distinct expectations, whether for policy debate, knowledge exchange, business development, or talent scouting. Nexus succeeds precisely because it embraces this complexity and builds bridges across it.

The goals are ambitious but concrete: to promote Luxembourg’s AI and innovation ecosystem by showcasing national programmes and smart city initiatives; to accelerate digital and AI transformation within industry, SMEs, and the financial sector; to attract foreign investment by encouraging international players to set up offices, research centres, and EU headquarters in Luxembourg; to generate leads and business growth for domestic corporations; to draw top international talent; and, ultimately, to deliver tangible visibility and development opportunities for partners and exhibitors.

What you can expect in 2026

• +175 keynotes, panel discussions and fireside chats will take place across 4 Stages and a Solutions Arena, featuring inspiring leaders in technology, innovation, policy and investment.

• 250 handpicked startups from around the world — 25 in each of ten categories — will pitch their solutions in the Start-Up Demo Arena for ten 90-minute sessions (3 mins for each startup). In front of a jury of investors and hundreds of professionals, they’ll compete to make the Top 3 in their category— and ultimately for the title of “Nexus Luxembourg 2026 – Grand Winner: Start-up of the Year.”

• Throughout the two-day conference, the 250 startups will showcase their innovations in the Startup Hive exhibition zone, meeting over 10,000 participants.

• In 2026, both the expert sessions (keynotes, panels, chats) and the start-up pitch battles will be structured around ten thematic categories:

• Nexus Luxembourg 2026 – Grand Winner: Start-up of the Year
  After a rigorous selection process by an international jury of professional investors, 30 finalists will be honoured at the closing ceremony.
  One standout start-up will receive the Grand Winner prize — a package worth €100,000, including €25,000 in cash and €75,000 in premium business services (workspace, consultancy, and media exposure).

• Fit 4 Start Graduation Ceremony
  Luxinnovation’s international acceleration programme selects 15 startups out of 400+ applications from 70+ countries. These companies will graduate on June 10.

• Luxembourg AI Excellence Awards (June 11)
  Organised by Fedil, Luxinnovation and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, this ceremony celebrates the most impactful AI solutions driving Luxembourg’s business transformation.

• Women in Finance & Technology (June 11)
  A dedicated programme powered by LHoFT – Luxembourg House of Financial Technology.

• Closing Seated Dinner Ceremony (June 11)
  A signature moment of the summit bringing together 1,000 guests and featuring the official Start-Up Awards Ceremony.

• Networking opportunities
  Engage with investors, policy makers, corporate decision-makers, journalists, start-ups and experts throughout the event.

• Exhibitors’ Cocktail (June 10) closes the first day, followed by a series of private evening events hosted across the city. A limited number of seats for these private gatherings are allocated through a selective “beauty contest” application process.

• Matchmaking Zone powered by the Chamber of Commerce
  A dedicated business matchmaking platform where participants can pre-schedule meetings through the Nexus mobile app and meet face-to-face in 20-minute slots.

• Grand Opening Ceremony (June 10, 9:30–11:00 AM) followed by the official opening tour.

  Showcasing business solutions, institutional information (including EU Commission and regulatory bodies), and around 100 exhibitors.

• Sponsored Student Tickets
  Luxembourg-based employers sponsor tickets for global tech and AI students, who then join a post-event tour on June 12, visiting company headquarters to meet their sponsors.

• Pub Crawl (June 9)
  On the eve of the summit, participants collect their badges in the city centre and join an international networking pub crawl — the perfect warm-up to meet fellow attendees before the opening day.

• International Delegations
  More than 25 delegations from around the world arrive one day early to discover Luxembourg’s innovation ecosystem before joining the pub crawl.

• A redesigned floor plan (by 2001 Architect, Philippe Nathan) enhances visitor flow and creates a more immersive experience for exhibitors and participants alike.
