Valérie Tiersen holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance, as well as a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge. She spent the first 17 years of her career in the banking and international finance sector, where she developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and strategic leadership.

In 2009, driven by a passion for innovation and sustainability, she joined 3 Suisses—a pioneering French brand in sustainable apparel and home goods. She simultaneously held two key executive roles: General Manager for the Benelux region—where she successfully turned around a loss-making division—and Marketing Director for France, overseeing brand and commercial strategy.

In 2019, inspired by conversations with scientists and the urgent need to address environmental risks, Valérie founded Green Score Capital, with the ambition to bridge the gap between companies’ activities and biodiversity through data-driven, actionable insights.

Part of the French Tech Board, Chairwoman of the High Level Sustainability Group of the European Cross-Border Commerce Network, Alumni of the first edition of the Green Fintech Catapult Program of the LHoFT, she is fully dedicated to helping companies better anticipate environmental risks and make more resilient, future-focused investment decisions.
